KPR 30th Birthday
Combining our biannual open weekend with our 30th birthday celebrations. This weekend will bring visiting drivers and locomotives from different corners of the country. Running Friday the 21st through to Monday the 24th of October (Weather Permitting)

About the event
Happy Birthday Keirunga! We've been providing our community with 30 years of fun! Labour Weekend is usually one of our most enjoyable events and we are hoping to make it a bit more spectacular than usual.
Our open weekends bring together people and their locomotives from all over the country to spend a few days riding the rails at our popular park.
Help us bring some colour to the celebration by entering our coloring competition here.
There's always a good selection of locomotives to ride and a selection of food vendors.
Bring the family and set yourselves up for a picnic on the hill, all the while watching the trains dance around you.
Public Running is from 11am till 4pm each day over the 4 days from Friday the 21st of October (Hawkes Bay Anniversary) until Monday the 24th (Labour Day).
Rides are $2 each or $20 for a 12 ride ticket.
