Did you know?

Keirunga Park Railway has 5 bridges, including 4 viaducts. The longest railway bridge in New Zealand is over the Rakaia River in the South Island. This bridge is 1744 metres and was opened in 1939, replacing the original trestle bridge built in the 1870s. (The Guinness Railway Fact Book)
